By order dated 7 January 2026 NCLAT confined the CIRP to the Lucknow projects and certain Rajasthan assets, upholding a reverse CIRP to protect homebuyers and expressly excluding projects in Haryana, Punjab and the Agra/Noida areas of Uttar Pradesh. Group financial distress remains relevant to completion risk even outside that perimeter.
