Jaypee Infratech Ltd, the group company behind the Jaypee Greens developments, has been through a corporate insolvency resolution process: Suraksha Realty's resolution plan was approved by NCLT in March 2023 and upheld by NCLAT in May 2024, and the Supreme Court closed homebuyers' pleas in September 2024 after Suraksha offered allotment or refund. About 159 towers and 20,000 units were pending at admission. Construction restart has been slow, and in January 2026 the Delhi EOW registered an FIR against the resolution applicant on an Enforcement Directorate complaint alleging misuse of funds earmarked for completing stalled projects. Verify the construction and handover position of any specific tower before transacting.
